There was plenty of political news to talk about BEFORE we learned that President Trump and the First Lady tested positive for COVID-19:
The week began with a couple of bombshell reports from the New York Times, which obtained 20 years of Trump tax returns.Trump’s refusal to follow rules turned the first presidential debate into a “hot mess inside a dumpster fire.” And that was BEFORE we learned that it may also have been a super-spreader event. Polling for the election has remained steady while fundraising for Democrats has been robust (over $30 million raised during the debate alone).
And that’s just the election-related news, all of which is now affected by Trump’s positive diagnosis. MOMocrats Karoli, Aliza Worthington, and Donna Schwartz Mills discuss this and as much as they can fit into one hour in this week’s political podcast. Part of the #DemCast family of podcasts.
