It’s a new year and we’ll soon have a new beginning in Washington, with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris taking office and Democratic control of both Houses of Congress, thanks to the Georgia triumph of newly elected Senators Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.

But first, we need to deal with the orange countenance of Donald Trump, whose four-year crime spree only intensified over the holiday break as he did everything he could to overturn the 2020 election and stay in power by any means possible – including inciting his most fervent, violent supporters to idisrupt the final count of Electoral College votes by nvading and rioting in the Capitol.itself.
