The administration released new jobs numbers today, and analysts were disappointed – but only because they were expecting a whopping 1 million news jobs and were faced with a more normal 266,000. In a classic case of “glass half empty or half full,” conservatives are spinning this as proof that enhanced unemployment benefits are making people too lazy to find work again, while progressives are pointing out that employers who don’t offer a living wage should have trouble filling job openings. MOMocrats Karoli and Donna Schwartz Mills talk about the numbers, as well as the assault on voting rights, Republicans in disarray, and the Facebook board’s decision to kick the Trump question back to the company.
