The quest to re-enact Voting Rights continues to be stalled in the Senate (thanks to 50 GOP Senators who don’t want you to vote and two intransigent Democrats who — we don’t know what their deal is).
Inflation continues to rise and Americans are in a sour mood. Few media outlets are pointing out that rising prices are a global issue that can be traced to the pandemic, which isn’t helping.
And speaking of COVID, the Supreme Court just ruled against the Administration’s vaccine mandate for large companies, as omicron cases have filled up ICU’s around the country to heights surpassing last winter’s peak.
If this was a superhero movie, we’d be at the end of Act 3, where the world is about to get blown up. Can we save the day?
